James Huston is a dedicated legal professional with a deep-rooted passion for family law. A product of Michigan, James grew up in the Lansing area and earned his Bachelor’s degree from James Madison College at Michigan State University before continuing his education at Wayne State University Law School, where he honed his legal acumen and developed a deep understanding of family law. It was during this time that James discovered his calling to advocate for families facing challenging legal issues, particularly in matters of divorce, child custody, and support.

Throughout his career, James has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to his clients, offering compassionate guidance and unwavering support during some of the most difficult times in their lives. His approach is characterized by empathy and understanding, recognizing the unique circumstances of each family and tailoring his legal strategies to meet their individual needs.

Outside of his legal practice, James loves spending time outdoors golfing, skiing, or playing softball. He also enjoys watching sports – especially his Michigan State Spartans and Detroit Lions – who he’s loved since childhood.
